ONE of the Three Towns most popular bars has been listed for sale.
The Pop Inn in Stevenston is often considered one of the areas busiest bars - particularly in the hot weather due to its extensive beer garden.
While, following a complete refurbishment in 2014, it has also received much praise for the food served in the bar.
However, the Herald can now reveal that the popular inn has been listed for sale.
The New Street property was advertised in the latest edition of the Scottish Trade News magazine by specialist business agents, Smith and Clough.
The bar, described as a "popular and well presented inn", was advertised as a freehold pub with an asking price of offers over £350,000.
The sale would include the public bar, large patio and beer garden and the self-contained four bedroomed owners flat
While the advertisement also mentions the Pop's "good reputation for food".
It was added that the premises provides a "thriving opportunity close to all ameneties" and that the bar's turnover for the last financial year was circa £400,000 net of VAT.
The property has not yet been listed for sale online, and no further details were added in the advertisement.
It is unclear at this stage what the sale will mean operationally for the bar - though it is currently open for business as usual.
