A MAN who was reported missing exactly a week ago was last seen in Stevenston yesterday (Wednesday, July 5).

Mohammed Said was reported missing to police in Ipswich on Thursday, June 29.

However, it is understood the teenager was seen in the Hayocks Road area of Stevenston yesterday.

It is now believed that Mohammed may have travelled to Glasgow - and police have launched an appeal for anyone who may have information on his whereabouts to come forward.

Sergeant Claire Walker said:“Since being reported missing, Mohammed is believed to have been in Ayrshire and may now have travelled on to Glasgow.

“I am appealing for anyone with any information on his whereabouts to contact us. I would also appeal to Mohammed himself to get in touch.”
