A BUSY Stevenston road is to close for more than a week at the end of this month.
The B752, known as Ardeer Road, will be shut from 8am on the morning of Monday, July 24.
It will then remain closed until 6pm on Wednesday, August 2.
The road, officially called Dubbs Road, is the main commuter route from the A738 Kilwinning Road to the Ardeer industrial estate - via the Ardeer roundabout.
North Ayrshire Council says the closure is to allow for carriageway resurfacing works, and that diversion routes will be put in place and signposted during this time.
It is one of three roads in the Ardeer area which are to close for resurfacing this month.
First Avenue will also close from July 17 until July 28, and Shore Road will be closed from 8am on July 31 until 6pm on August 8.
Both roads are also to be resurfaced, and diversions will be in place.
