A KILWINNING shop and takeaway has closed its doors for the last time.
The Seymour Shop and Takeaway, on Seymour Avenue in the Dirrans area, served its final customers on Sunday, July 16.
And the owners of the property are now looking for a new leaseholder to take on the premises.
The prevoius leaseholders said rising costs meant the business was no longer viable.
The property's owners say that the takeaway and convenience store gives the opportunity for a new leaseholder to run "two businesses in one" shop.
A social media post looking for applicants added that the lease would include "a lot of fixtures and fittings", including a kitted out kitchen which is "ready to go", along with fridges, shelving and a CCTV system.
It added: "(The) business had been trading for many years. Hopefully early grabbers will be able to salvage some existing customers that are already coming."
Owners say they will consider offers of more than £155 per week to take on the business - with no leasehold premium to pay.
