A KILWINNING shop has closed today - Thursday August 3.
But the McColl's store in West Doura Way in Kilwinning will be re-opened just over a week later - in a new guise.
The shop was closed to allow it to be refitted, following a takeover last year.
It's due to reopen as a Morrisons Daily on Friday, August 11.
McColl's was taken over by the convenience store branch of the supermarket chain after going into administration in October 2022.
Morrisons made the decision to close 132 former McColl's stores across the UK - including the one in Kilwinning Main Street - after the £190million rescue deal.
All those which remained open, like the store on West Doura Way, are being rebranded as Morrisons Daily.
