THE newest business on the Saltcoats food scene has officially opened its doors.
Hank Marvins began service for the first time yesterday, Monday August 14, when the new Countess Street fast food restuarant was officially launched.
In the unit, formerly occupied by Speed Chinese takeaway, the businesses promised "the best food and flavour".
They released their menu late last month and said it would offer a wide array of "comfort food" ,which is sure to be a hit.
Included are sharing boxes, pasta dishes, wraps, loaded fries, chicken tempura dishes, beef and chicken burgers, loaded fries, nachos, wings, fajitas and a selection of sides.
The 'something different' section includes both a sirloin steak and a very intriguing salt and chilli Yorkshire pudding.
For those looking for something sweet the menu also has a dessert section featuring the firm favourite Tango Ice Blasts.
Hank Marvins will operate from 4-11pm Monday through Thursday, from 4-11.30pm on Fridays and from 12noon-11.30pm on a Saturday and Sunday.
For those wishing to try it out, orders can be made on Foodhub, by phone, or just by walking in. Delivery and collection are both available.
