A NEW coffee shop has opened its doors in Beith.
And Curiosity on Strand in the town offers something a little bit out of the ordinary from your typical chain stores.
The business is the brainchild of local woman Lesley Elliot, who is delighted to be serving the local community.
Her shop certainly peaks curiosity as not only does it offer "amazing coffee and a selection of cakes" but Curiosity also sells a selection of vintage homeware bits.
Lesley opened up for the first time on Thursday, August 10, though already Curiosity appears to be a hit with the locals.
After final service that day, Lesley took to social media to thank those who got behind her business.
She said: "Wow, what a first day! Lots of coffees, lots of cakes and lots of chat.
"Thank you all so much for your support and lovely comments - let's do it all again tomorrow!"
For those wishing to check out the shop it can be found on Strand, in Beith, and is open 8am-3pm Tuesday-Friday and from 9am-3pm on Saturdays.
Curiosity is closed on a Sunday and Monday.
