A WELL-kent Ardrossan takeaway is set to open its doors under new management - after changing hands for the first time in more than 30 years.

The Harbourside Takeaway at the Winton Buildings in Ardrossan has been part of the town's fast food scene for over three decades.

But a new era is set to begin on Monday, September 18, when the business will have a new team at the helm.

Local woman Natasha Duff is set to takeover alongside her father James after giving the place a complete makeover.

The takeaway is set to offer a completely new menu with "great taste and great prices" promised.

It is a first business venture of this nature for those involved, but they remain confident that they can offer something "completely different" for locals.

They are confident of making the takeaway a success and are hoping that the local community can get behind them.

For those interested they will be able to pop in from Monday to check out the new look shop.
