Acclaimed author Karen Campbell is heading to Ardrossan's Seahorse Bookstore at the weekend.
She will be promoting her latest novel, Paper Cup, which has already made waves at a Waterstone's Book of the Month.
Paper Cup is the story a homeless woman who takes a journey from the streets of Glasgow to make a pilgrimage back to her home in Dumfries and Galloway.
It's a vibrant tale with larger than life characters and a beautiful view of this area and the characters within it, as well as the harsh and complex realities of life as a homeless person.
Paper Cup has received rave reviews from all - including the 15 very opinionated members of the Seahorse Bookclub.
Paper Cup is Karen's eighth novel. The former police officer, who was brought up in Glasgow, now lives in Galloway.
Seahorse's Molly Murray said: "We are thrilled to host a discussion with Karen Campbell at our very own Seahorse Bookstore in Ardrossan, and invite all to join."
You can catch Karen at Seahorse, located just along from the Ardrossan Asda store, on Saturday, September 30, at 3pm.
