A yellow weather warning is in place for parts of North Ayrshire this weekend.
The Met Office alert for heavy rain is in place from midnight on Saturday, October 7 until around 6am on Sunday, October 8.
The warning says that flooding in homes and buildings can be expected.
It also says that fast flowing or deep floodwater is possible, causing a danger to life.
Delays or cancellations to train and bus services are also possible, according to the warning.
