ORGANISERS have now revealed all the details for the upcoming community fireworks display planned for Kilwinning.
The event is planned and brought to the public by voluntary group Kilwinning Community Events, which promises another fantastic show in the town.
Thousands turned out at the town's show last year, and there will be hopes for similar support this time around.
The event will take place on Monday, November 6, in the town's McGavin Park on Dalry Road - with plenty of entertainment for all the family.
Food outlets and kids' rides, where charges apply, at the Kilwinning park will open from 4.30pm, with fire acts to begin performing from 5.30pm, and free balloon art to start at 5pm.
There will be two displays taking place across the evening, beginning with a shorter family show, with "fewer bangs" at 6pm.
The "big show" will commence at a later time of 7.30pm.
Ahead of the event, organisers are encouraging all visitors planning on coming along to pay entry - gained via donation - in advance to speed up entry. However, donation buckets will be available for those unable to donate online.
Those looking to donate online can do so via tinyurl.com/KilwinningFireworks.
The donation for entry plays a huge role in allowing the volunteers, who put on this amazing show, to make it all happen.
The suggested donation on entry £10 for a family and a little more for larger groups.
For those travelling to the event by car, organisers have provided information and tips to make for as smooth a journey as possible.
A £2 contribution has been introduced for those using and car parks who wish to support the voluntary groups, the boys brigade and scouts, who steward them so well.
Park and walk routes will be available and will be signposted from Kilwinning Railway Station (via Claremont Crescent) and Kilwinning Town Centre parking (via the college and Academy). Public parking will also be available at Kilwinning College.
Using these options will ensure you avoid congestion when coming to, and leaving, the event.
Blue badge parking is very limited at Kilwinning Academy as the school is open so it is advised that you have your badge ready as you approach the school and stewards will direct you. Early arrival is reccomended for cars using this area.
Due to Road closures in the area Abbey Primary will have limited capacity and must be prebooked to reserve a space. This will be £5 plus your donation to the fireworks.
Public transport also provides an alternative option for getting to McGavin Park.
Toilets will be available at the park pavillion, including accessible facilities. Dining options will include burger vans, fish and chips, donuts and ice cream plus glow sellers.
Organisers added: "Remember warm clothes, wellies or boots as we have wet grass underfoot, and a torch.
"Make sure your children have a note of your name and mobile in case of getting separated. Tell them to go to any steward if separated and we will have a lost children post signed at the pavilion in the centre of the park.
"Please do not bring DIY fireworks, alcohol or glass onsite, as you will be refused entry as we reserve the right to search at the event.
"We are always looking for sponsors and donations to maintain the event. If you can help, contact the group."
