Details of next month's Remembrance Day services in the Three Towns have been revealed.
The Royal British Legion Saltcoats, Ardrossan and Stevenston branch will hold a short service at 11am on Saturday, November 11 at all Three Towns Memorials with a minute's silence and cross laying. All who wish to attend will be made welcome.
On Remembrance Day itself, Sunday, November 12, the parades will form as follows:
Saltcoats - 10.30am, Bradshaw Street (outside Masonic and Motherland Spice).
Ardrossan – 12.30pm, Glasgow Street (Harbour end) outside library.
Stevenston – 1.30pm, Stevenston Memorial, Moorpark Road West.
This year also marks the 70th Anniversary of the Armistice which ended the Korean conflict, so the Legion members will honour the service of British and Commonwealth forces and the ending of National Service 60 years ago.
They added: "To all those who served, we say thank you.”
