A MAUCHLINE man has admitted to making a disablist remark during an incident in a North Ayrshire town.
Martin Dean, 40, pleaded guilty to one charge in relation to an incident in Craufurd Crescent, Barrmill, earlier this year when he appeared at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court last week.
Dean, of Donaldson Crescent, admitted to acting in a threatening or abusive manner in the village on September 14.
It was likely that he cause fear or alarm as he shouted, swore, acted in an aggressive manner and uttered a disablist remark.
Following his guilty plea Dean was ordered to pay a fine of £180.
