HALLOWE'EN is not far away, and there will be plenty of fun to be had on the lead up to October 31.
Pumpkin picking is a staple activity enjoyed by all the family during the days prior to Hallowe'en itself.
Next weekend, families are being invited to do exactly that - as well as enjoying other spook-tacular events - right here in North Ayrshire.
Beith's Geilsland Estate is inviting families to join in an autumnal adventure during their pumpkin picking events on Saturday, October 28, and Sunday, October 29.
Here, you can enjoy a day of pumpkin picking, arts and crafts, and lively tunes in the beautiful estate.
Three sessions will be offered each day: a morning session from 10am-12pm; and afternoon session from 12.30-2.30pm and an evening session from 3-5pm.
Activities during these session will include 'pumpkin patch adventure' - a treasure trail to find the perfect pumpkin - as well as 'musical delights' where you can groove to spooky tunes and 'magical memories' allowing children to take home a pumpkin and a snapshot from organiser's pumpkin-themed photo booth.
Tickets to any of the sessions are available at a cost of £10 per child, with any accompanying adults entering for free.
The event is suitable for children of all ages and tickets should be purchased in advance online at www.Geilsland.com.
It is advised that you arrive at your designated timeslot no earlier than the start time and no later than 15 minutes before it ends.
A spokesperson said: "Limited spots are available, so book now for a day of autumn fun at Geilsland."
