Ferry sailings to Arran have been cancelled for the rest of today due to bad weather.
The first crossing to fall was the 3.20pm from Ardrossan to Brodick on Wednesday afternoon.
The 6pm Ardrossan ferry has now also been cancelled due to the sea swell conditions, as well as the sailings which were due to depart from Brodick at 4.40pm and 7.20pm.
Passengers were warned earlier in the day that journeys to and from the island were running 30 minutes later "due to the vessel using the inner berth at Ardrossan and high volumes of traffic."
The ferry company said an update on Thursday's crossings would be provided tomorrow morning.
In a post of X (formerly Twitter) CalMac said this afternoon: "Due to sea swell conditions, the following sailings have been cancelled on this route. Depart Ardrossan: 15:20, 18:00; Depart Brodick: 16:40, 19:20."
Sailings from Claonaig to Lochranza on Arran were called off earlier in the day and the high winds have also cancelled sailings from Gourock to Dunoon, with a shuttle bus operating.
