POLICE have launched an appeal for public assistance to help a missing teen from Kilwinning - who was last seen nearly three days ago.
Alice Hill, 15, was last seen at Kilwinning railway station at around 4.30pm on Monday, October 16.
Officers say it's believed Alice boarded a train heading towards Ayr - but that she may have since caught a second train heading towards Glasgow.
Alice is described as being around five feet and four inches tall, with streaked fair and blonde hair.
When she was last seen, the teen was known to be wearing a black cropped top, a pink puffer jacket, a beige scarf, black leggings, and white trainers.
Police say that extensive enquiries are underway, which have so far revealed that Alice may be in the Glasgow area - but that she also has links to Ayr and North Ayrshire.
Now, they are appealing for any members of the public who may be able to assist in their investigation to come forward.
A force spokesperson said: "Anyone with information is asked to call Irvine Police Office on the police non-emergency number, 101."
