CalMac have suspended all ferry sailings between Ardrossan and Brodick as the weather conditions deteriorate.
The ferry company said "strong winds and sea swell conditions" caused by Storm Babet had led to today's services being cancelled.
The weather conditions led to cancellations on the Arran route yesterday (Wednesday) and this morning, with the 7am and 9.45am departures from Ardrossan, and the 8.20am and 11.05am sailings from Brodick not running
However, with wind speeds in the Firth of Clyde easing later in the morning, the ferry operator announced that sailings would resume with the 12.30pm departure from Ardrossan.
Sadly, with the weather getting worse, they didn't last long.
The ferry giant posted on X (formerly Twitter): "Due to a forecast of strong winds and associated sea swell conditions all sailings on this route have been cancelled.
"The weather and forecasts will be monitored throughout the day and any significant improvement which may lead to a service being operated will be explored.
"However, this is extremely unlikely given the extreme forecast and well publicised weather expected throughout the country."
