A one-man play based on the classic novel The Ragged Trousered Philanthropist is coming to Ayrshire.
Irvine and North Ayrshire Trades Council have organised the event, which will be performed in the Irvine Number 1 Celtic Supporters Club by the Townsend Theatre Productions Company.
The book and play looks at the difficult lives of painters and decorators at the beginning of the last century.
Neil Gore presents a one-person version of the classic novel by Robert Tressell featuring projection, political conjuring tricks, live music and song.
Meet the famous characters and enjoy the scenes, speeches and songs, featuring the Great Money Trick as its centrepiece.
Arthur West, acting secretary of the Trades Union Council, said: "Our organisation is delighted that we will be organising the performance in Irvine at 7.30pm on Friday, November 17.
