Choose Kilwinning is counting down the days until its first Christmas lights switch on.
The event will feature performances from the Rock Choir and one of Ayrshire's biggest Christmas markets, with over 60 stalls from crafters and small businesses .
Of course, Santa will be there with his reindeer while Mrs Claus will be reading stories to keep everyone entertained.
This year Choose Kilwinning has announced two events for the festive session;
Kilwinning’s Christmas Festival will be held on November 25, in Main Street from 1.30 to 6pm, with the lights getting switched on around 5pm.
Then the Holly Jolly Christmas Concert will be held in Kilwinning Abbey on December 7 from 5.30 to 8pm
Details of all the events can be found at https://www.facebook.com/choosekilwinning/.
There were fears for the future of the town's big events when the previous organisers, Promoting Kilwinning, folded.
But a group of traders and community activists joined forces to form Choose Kilwinning and ensure the town's favourite annual events would return.
When asked how the planning was going, Choose Kilwinning chair Aaran McDonald said: "I’m really proud of our team who have been involved in organising this year’s festive events.
"This is our first year as Choose Kilwinning taking responsibility for the festive events and we wanted to go BIG.
"We are really proud to have so many small businesses and groups in Kilwinning sponsoring the event which has helped massively.
"We can’t wait to see everyone on the day.”
