Saltcoats was lit up by a dazzling fireworks display this weekend.
Locals flocked to Saltcoats Harbour on Saturday, November 4, when the big evening of entertainment took place.
The event was accompanied by the fairground making the night all the more exciting for youngsters.
Erica Millar flicked the switch to ignite the fireworks. The nine-year-old a pupil at Mayfield Primary School, was selected from regular attendees at the IMC Project in the town to carry out the very special job.
The dazzling spectacle sparked a terrific turn out on the brisk evening down Saltcoats shorefront.
Organiser and local councillor for Saltcoats and Stevenston Jim Montgomerie hailed the event as a thanked all those who made it a success.
He commented: "I would like to thank everyone for turning up. Weather wise we were blessed again.
"Events like this are so important for our community, it’s great to see everyone out having fun.
"Thanks to everyone for their kind words and lovely messages. Thanks to our local police who were a huge help to me on the night.
"Last but certainly not least a massive thank you to Erica who set our display off. She was absolutely amazing and done a wonderful job."
