Shipyard bosses are so confident about the new launch date of the ferry set to service Arran that they have named the date.
A sign has been erected on scaffolding beside the hull of the ship stating that she'll hit the water on March 12 next year.
But due to the project being beset by ongoing delays Glen Rosa, which should have been in operation five years ago, won't be delivered to Caledonian MacBrayne until May 2025 - three months later than previously planned.
The vessel, along with MV Glen Sannox, is currently under construction in Ferguson Marine in Port Glasgow.
The ferry is set to play a vital role in providing a fully flexible year-round service for Arran.

Also the capacity of the ferry and her troubled sister Glen Sannox may have to be reduced from 1,000 passengers each to 852.
The final bill for the ferries is projected to be around £400million - four-times the original price tag.
