Armiciste Day was marked across the three towns on Sunday with moving ceremonies in Ardrossan, Saltcoats, Stevenston and Dalry.
Members of the local branch of the Royal British Legion Scotland (RBLS) led the services, with local sea cadets, army and air cadets also paying their respects.
Members of the public also stopped to observe a minute's silence as the country joined in remembrance for those affected by conflict.
A spokesperson for the Ardrossan, Saltcoats and Stevenson branch of the RBLS thanked everyone for turning out to pay their respects.
They said: "As the members of our local branch of the RBLS Saltcoats, Ardrossan and Stevenston started the minute's silence, all the local sea cadets, army and air cadets where brought to attention to also mark the silence with them.
"Members of the general public walking in Dockhead Street stopped and paid their respect too, along with the cadets and those at the memorial.
"We thank you for joining us in this act of remembrance."
