Pictures from the Whitlees Community Centre fireworks show

Crowds gathered at the Whitlees Community Centre on Carrick place that night as they put on one final fireworks display this November.

The stunning show was produced by the volunteers at the community centre, with the assistance of some generous locals.

They helped put on a night to remember for all in attendance as the skies above Ardrossan were lit up in glorious colour.

As well as the fireworks, families were kept entertained by the fairground which the centre played host to for the evening.

The centre staff also worked hard all evening make sure that the crowds remained fed and watered!

While fire juggler Jay's Fair Graham wowed the masses with their incredibly skills before CJ Party Hire 221 CC lit off the stunning display.

It was an incredible evening for all involved, and the centre were quick to thank all those who turned out, as well as everyone who made the event possible.

They said: "Well what a fantastic fire works night and yet again our community came together to help us make our wee town bigger and better and bring fun and entertainment to you.

"Firstly some thanks to Tam Kane and Connor Kane for their donation and for helping out.

"Violet Miller (Queen) Marnie Morgan (Princess) Jay's Fair Graham (fire juggler) CJ Party hire 221 CC (Fireworks) Tracy, our first aider and all our volunteers who helped.

"We as a committee work hard on all events but when it comes to large events we try to cater for all age groups and keep expense to families to a minimum and so that all can enjoy these events as well as keeping yous safe."
