A POPULAR village hotel has announced that they will be closing for one day a week throughout part of the winter period.
The Seamill House Hotel on West Kilbride's Ardrossan Road is set to close on Mondays for the next month.
From yesterday, November 13, until December 18, bosses at the premises say they will be taking Mondays to "take a breather" and "recharge".
However, the remainder of the week will remain unaffected by the decision, with the hotel's bar, restaurant and rooms remaining open as usual from Tuesday through to Sunday.
The business confirmed the decision with a post on social media - explaining the reasoning behind the amended opening hours.
They said: "Starting from November 13 until December 18, we'll be taking a breather every Monday to recharge and enhance your overall experience with us.
"But don't worry – we'll be back with full energy and zest on the other days of the week to serve you better than ever.
"Thank you for your understanding, and we can't wait to welcome you on Tuesdays through Sundays.
"Feel free to reach out if you have any questions. Your support means the world to us."
More information on the hotel is available through their social media page at facebook.com/SeamillHouseHotel.
