After three months of closure Aldi in Saltcoats is set to reopen its doors again.
The popular store at The Braes initially closed in August for major refurbishment works to take place.
Bosses at the store have confirmed that they will be looking to open the doors again on Thursday, November 23.
Work will be ongoing right up until customers are welcomed back once again but Aldi staff claim it will be worth the wait.
Once the store opens again it will have expanded way beyond what was previously offered.
The work being carried out at present will ensure "more space for fresh, chilled and food-to-go ranges".
A company spokesperson added: "It will be much brighter with simpler layouts and wider aisles."
The re-opening will also mean staff who worked at the store previously will be returning from their redeployments.
Most staff have been temporarily relocated to neighbouring Ayrshire branches during the period of closure. An Aldi spokesperson added that some colleagues made the decision to work at the Oban store instead - so they may once again have a slightly shorter commute soon.
