A FUNDRAISING Christmas fayre is coming to Ardrossan later this month in a bid to support families in need.

The event is set to take place in the town on Friday, November 24, and has been organised by the Lennox Partnership.

The fayre, which will run from 10am-12pm, has been organised to support We Work for Families which is part of the councils "Your Next Move" Employability Service.

We Work for Families support parents in North Ayrshire to reach a positive destination. This can include improving their mental health, dealing with debt, supporting them in to training or college and helping them towards employment.

The event, which is being held at the Lennox Partnership's parent hub in the Frank Sweeney Centre for Enterprise on Glasgow Street, will feature plenty of festive fun for all in attendance.

There will be tea, coffee and cake on offer - and a raffle has been organised with plenty of fantastic prizes up for grabs.

The Lennox Partnership is encouraging all who can come along to pop in and "help provide a magical Christmas for families in need".
