UPDATE: Police have confirmed that Kalia Hamilton has now been traced.

 

POLICE in Saltcoats are appealing for public assistance to trace a girl aged 13 who has been reported missing from the town.

Kalia Hamilton was last seen in the town centre area of Saltcoats at around 10am on Thursday, November 16.

She is described as around four feet and eight inches in height and of slim build with long, brown hair.

When she was last seen Kalia was known to be wearing a black jacket, a red Nike hooded top, black Nike jogging trousers and white/red Nike Air Jordan trainers.

As the appealed to the public for assistance, officers say they are looking to ensure that Kalia is found as soon as possible.

Sergeant Claire Walker said: “Enquiries are ongoing to trace Kalia as soon as possible to ensure that she is safe and well.

“She has recently moved from the Glasgow area and we would ask anyone who has seen her, or who has any information on her whereabouts to contact us through 101 with reference number 1007 of November 16.”
