Three Towns Royal British Legion Scotland branch give thanks

THE Three Towns branch of the Royal British Legion Scotland (RBLS) had plenty of reasons to be thankful in 2023 - and have shown their appreciation to several of those who offered a helping hand.

The members of the Saltcoats, Ardrossan and Stevenston branch of Legion Scotland presented certificates to four venues recently who they felt deserved a particular gesture of thanks.

They visited Ardrossan Indoor Bowling Club, St Mary’s Church in Saltcoats, Saltcoats Masonic Club and the Motherland Spice to offer a special thank you.

Branch president Paul Coffey added: "We wish we could present certificates to all who help, but it would be just too many.

"So before we get into the festive season we would like to thank all involved in helping us to help veterans across the region and look forward to working with you in the future."
