Two runners-up, Lucy Smith from St Luke's Primary and James Kentfield from Lawthorn Primary, eachreceived a £15 gift token for their entries.
In addition to being chosen as the MSP’s Christmas card, Sophie was also presented with a gift voucher and supplies for the school's P5 Christmas party.
Ms Maguire said: “I was very impressed with the many amazing entries from across the local primary schools but Sophie’s stood out the most and made myself and my staff team smile.
“I was pleased to present the prize in person this year and surprise Sophie at the school assembly. I hope all the kids enjoy the goodies at their Christmas party.
“Well done again to Sophie for your terrific card and thank you to everybody else who entered the competition.”
