Pupils from Dalry Primary braved the cold weather to do a spot of birdwatching earlier this week.
The youngsters got out in the fresh air to listen for bird sounds, as well as try and spot some nests.
And the kind pupils left some food and water for the birds to keep them happy during a freezing January.
Despite the cold, it looks as though everyone had a fantastic time on the class trip.
On X (formerly Twitter), a school spokesperson said: "Great fun listening for birds and looking for nests.
"We were excited to explore our grounds looking for places we could leave food and water for the birds during this cold weather."
