Dykesmains Primary hosted a fantastic celebration of all things Scottish last week.
Coming just after Burns Supper season, pupils at the Saltcoats school enjoyed a taste of Scotland, with some of the country's most loved food and drink - non alcoholic, of course.
Residents from the Arran View care home were invited along, to enjoy the fun as well as youngsters from the early years centre.
There were some excellent performances of Scottish verse and song, admirably handled by the pupils at the school. And some wonderful dancing too.
A school spokesperson said on X (formerly Twitter): "On Friday morning, we had a lovely time celebrating our Scottish heritage with some of our feeder early years centre and our local residents at Arran View.
"Together we sang, danced and recited poetry. Some older siblings popped in for a quick hello."
