POLICE have launched an appeal for assistance after three cars were deliberately set on fire on a Beith street.
Officers were called to the scene on Acacia Drive at around 6pm on Wednesday, February 21.
Police say the incident is being treated as "wilful fire-raising".
Enquiries carried out so far have established that a grey or silver car was seen in Acacia Drive around the time of the incident.
Police are now keen to obtain more information as they continue their investigations into the "reckless incident".
Detective Inspector Ewan Bell said: “Extensive enquiries are underway to establish the full circumstances surrounding this reckless incident and we are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
“We would like to speak to anyone who noticed anything at all suspicious as well as people with private CCTV or dash-cam footage of the area from Wednesday evening."
