A NEW restaurant is set to open its doors in Ardrossan in the next few months.
And the owners of the business say they are "excited" to announce themselves onto the local hospitality scene.
Rendezvous Bar and Bistro are aiming to open on Princes Street around Easter time, bringing a whole new experience into town.
Located at what was previously the Britannia Bar, the business will be fully licensed and offer meals throughout the day from breakfast through until dinner.
But the owners, the Peters family from West Kilbride, hope to offer much more with all welcome whether they want to grab a bite to eat, a coffee and cake, or just relax with a drink - with opening hours expected to be until around 11.30pm.
Only a stone's throw from Ardrossan Town railway station, the venue will also be dog friendly and a perfect place to end a walk along the stunning shore front.
It has been a quick turnaround since the owners took over the building at the beginning of the year, but plans are now starting to take shape.
The business will also be bringing a number of jobs to the local area with a recruitment drive now under way.
Rendezvous are still look to employ a chef, cooks and baristas in particular, as well as a number of front of house staff.
Those interested in applying for a role are encouraged to send their CV or written application to Rendezvousardrossan@gmail.com.
Speaking ahead of the opening, the owners said: "We are really excited to be opening up soon and hopefully offering something a little bit different for Ardrossan, the Three Towns and the wider area.
"It has moved really fast since we first came in, but we are really happy with how things are going and the direction we are heading.
"Hopefully the community can get behind us and we will be a welcome addition to the local area."
