The final ferry service between Ardrossan and Brodick tonight has been cancelled due to the weather.
Operators CalMac have confirmed that the last sailing today will be the 6pm from Ardrossan to Arran.
The vessel will berth in Brodick overnight, which means the early sailing at 7pm from Ardrossan tomorrow (Wednesday) will also be cancelled.
CalMac also warned that service today could be disrupted or cancelled if conditions deteriorate.
The bad weather also meant early services from the island to the mainland were cancelled, with the service finally resuming at from Ardrossan at 9.45am today.
