Ayrshire's Bridgend Motor Group are celebrating Scottish Apprenticeship Week.
The company, which has seven branches across North, South and East Ayrshire, currently has 44 apprentices at their training academy in Kilwinning.
And the family-owned firm said they remained steadfast in their dedidation to fostering the next generation of skilled professionals.
Established in 1930, Bridgend say they are out to address the skills gap in the motor industry.
The automotive sector has encountered challenges stemming from a diminishing pool of skilled tradespeople in recent years.
Bridgend Motor Group, in collaboration with esteemed training partners like BOSCH, GTG, SMTA, and Ayrshire College, say they are committed to reversing this trend in the Ayrshire region.
Their state-of-the-art Training Academy in Kilwinning already serves as a hub for nurturing talent and expertise.
With 44 apprentices actively contributing across the group, Bridgend Motor Group says it's ensuring a promising future not only for their business, but also for the dedicated young individuals embarking on their journey toward becoming fully qualified skilled automotive, mechanical, paint, and panel technicians.
These apprentices work alongside experienced professionals, demonstrating exceptional work ethic and unwavering commitment to quality.
Alan McLaughlan, family member and managing director, expressed his pride in the apprentices’ dedication and conduct within the workshops.
He added: "I eagerly anticipate their qualification as skilled technicians, emphasising the company’s unwavering commitment to providing them with the finest training and support available."
