Pupils at St Bridget's Primary in Kilbirnie had a brilliant time on World Book Day last week.
Everyone at the school threw themselves in to the annual event, which celebrates literature around the world, encouraging pupils to dress as characters from their favourite books.
And there were inventive costumes on display - some of them worn by the teachers.
Before the big day, the school posted on X (Formerly Twitter): "No need to buy anything for WBD! Use your imaginations.
"Come as a colour, or as an occupation, or as any word at all! Come in a costume you already have, or in a club uniform you wear. Let's enjoy a cost-free day."
If these pics by photographer Charlie Gilmour are anything to go by, everyone had a great time.
