Fans of a much-loved Three Towns DJ are urged to help keep his "musical legacy alive".
Mallorca Lee, a former pupil of Auchenharvie Academy in Stevenston, passed away last month.
In January, the Ultra Sonic founder announced on social media that he had just "weeks to live" after being diagnosed with terminal cancer.
The band is known for its hits Obsession, Love Me Right and Angels and has featured regularly on DJ George Bowie's popular GBX sets on radio and in clubs across the country.
Now fellow musician Mark Sherry has revealed plans to fulfil Mallorca's projects and remaster the Ultra Sonic (US) classics.
He said: "You might have seen me saying something about this in a post a few weeks ago but I’ve been asked by Mallorca Lee’s wife Maria to help keep his musical legacy alive. So it will be my absolute honour to do this for my dear friend and his amazing family.
"I’m going to meet up with Rodger Hughes with whom Mallorca wrote all of the Ultra-Sonic tracks with when I get back from my tour.
"We can discuss what Mal’s future ‘Ultra-Sonic classics’ reworks release plans were before he passed so that I can completely fulfil his projects for him.
"I have remixed a few of the US tracks for him myself and there are other US classic remixes out there that have been completed as well, that were actually requested by Mal before he passed.
"I also have an unfinished collaboration with Mal to finish that I had been chipping away at with him in my studio over the last 18 months as well so I’m going to do my very best to keep his name alive in the scene that we all love.
"My bro David Forbes is going to help me with some of this too and we’re also both going to work with Mal’s son OSHY 303 in the studio to help nurture him so that he can continue his musical journey, just as his dad wanted more than anything.
"The name ‘Lee’ will never be forgotten in our beloved dance scene."
