A FORMER Ardrossan Academy teacher says she is "so excited" to be moving her business into Saltcoats town centre.
Denise Harvey, who previously taught chemistry at the school, launched Honeybee Cottage back in October 2023.
The Three Towns woman was inspired to launch the venture after her own experiences, which included moving away from teaching due to burnout.
The focus of Honeybee Cottage is to help others recover from their own day-to-day anxieties and provide a positive space to enhance your mental health and wellbeing.
The business offers meditation, reiki, sound therapy, and crafts classes as well as selling a number of craft products.
It's also one of very few businesses in Ayrshire to stock Frenchic paint.
Honeybee Cottage has proved to be a huge hit so far since Denise set up at the Corespace building in Kilwinning.
After a property became available at the end of last year, she is now set to move the business into the centre of Saltcoats.
Work is now well underway on transforming the former Stems and Gems.
She said: "The purpose of Honeybee Cottage is to help people find their calm amongst the chaos by giving them the opportunity to take time for themselves.
"We are so excited to be moving to a high street location as this will allow our clients to access our services much more easily, particularly those that don't drive.
"At the moment most of our clients have heard about us through social media, so we hope that the new location will raise awareness of our business, to help us better reach those that are in need of our services.
"The larger premises will allow us to have dedicated areas for each of our services, and also give us room for further expansion."
Denise is aiming to have the business set up and operational in its new home in time for Easter.
Until that time she remains in operation in Kilwinning and further information can be found online at facebook.com/honeybeecottagescot.
