History is set to come alive again at Kilwinning's Abbey Tower Heritage Centre as it opens to visitors at Easter.
Free entry and guided tours by volunteers from Kilwinning Heritage will once again be available.
Visitors can see the ground floor museum of Kilwinning’s past including an ancient archery display, and learn about the town’s industrial history.
A spiral staircase takes visitors up 143 steps to explore the 200-year-old bell tower with its original working clock mechanism and two historic bells.
Panoramic views of the North Ayrshire countryside are the reward for those who reach the roof.
The centre will be open Friday, March 29 to Monday, April 1 between 11am and 3pm (Easter Sunday 1-3pm only).
