THE owners of a popular Dalry pub say it "will not be long" until they are open once again.
The Black Bull Inn operators Joannie and Mark closed the Vennel Street venue back in January so that the pair could take a brief and well-earned break from running the business.
Though they took to social media last week to announce their impending return to the popular bar.
It means regulars and visiting customers will once again be able to enjoy a drink or a bite to eat at the busy boozer.
However, those planning on paying the pair a visit once they make their return can expect to see a handful of changes.
A Facebook post explained: "To all our followers - the pub is coming along fine, lots being done! I think it will be good in the end.
"Hopefully the old customers will come back and enjoy the warmth and bar snacks menu.
"Also come feed your kids - burger, chips, etc - and enjoy a a pint or a vino while they eat their meal. Onwards and upwards."
Popular features of the bar, such as live music events, are set to continue as before.
While a further update provided details on the progress of the work on the bar however no opening date has yet been set.
It added: "Pub well and truly taking shape now. Hopefully won’t be long before we can re open!"
Locals are already looking forward to being able to enjoy the Black Bull Inn once again.
One commented: "I bet it's going to be great and looking lovely - can't wait to see what it's like at the end."
Further updates can be found on the Black Bull Inn Facebook page.
