A fun day for Ayrshire children living with Type 1 diabetes was held at the weekend.
The Ayrshire Family FesT1val took place in Ardrossan Civic Centre on Saturday morning, with plenty of activities for the kids to take part in.
And lots of information about the condition was made available for everyone.
It allowed everyone to have some fun with other families living with Type 1 Diabetes.
And they were also able find out more about the Ayrshire Families with Diabetes Group and the work of Diabetes Scotland.
Children’s entertainment was provided by the Kidnetick children's party company with the Diabetes Scotland Together Type 1 Youth Project Team providing a tailored programme for those age 11+.
Type 1 diabetes causes the level of sugar in your blood to become too high. It happens when your body cannot produce a hormone called insulin, which controls blood glucose.
Those who are diagnosed need to take insulin every day to keep their blood glucose levels under control.
Photographer Charlie Gilmour dropped by to take these great pics of the event.
