ONE of the most popular events in the Garnock Valley's calendar is set to make a welcome return this weekend.

The Beith Farmers Society's annual show will be held in the Manse Field, near Glebe Road in the town, from 9am until 6pm on Saturday, April 12.

And the society is encouraging as many people as possible to come along and join the fun.

There is set to be something for everyone with plenty to keep you occupied between the shows and outstanding hospitality.

There is to be a bar, stalls and kids rides which should provide something to keep those of all ages entertained.

Shows on the day will include the cattle show, 'Krufts and Scruffs' fun dog show, and pony showjumping.

There will also be a chance to meet and greet some animals on the day as well as having a look at some vintage tractors.

In March we revealed that the Manse Field was on the verge of being sold to Miller Homes for a housing development, meaning that the show could have to look for a new home in the years to come.

For now, though, all is in place for another successful event, and one certainly not to be missed - all that's needed now is for the weather to be kind!
