A POPULAR Dalry pub has announced when it will be making its official return.
The Black Bull Inn on Vennel Street is set to reopen to customers later this month.
Operators Joannie and Mark closed the venue back in January so that the pair could take a well-earned break from running the business.
Last month they said that the bar would be "returning soon" - and have now made an official announcement confirming their plans.
The team will be making their comeback on the weekend of Saturday, May 18, with a free buffet and karaoke event.
Joannie and Mark say they also plan to offer a 'bar snacks' menu on weekday afternoons when the venue reopens, as well as teas, coffees and cakes on Wednesday mornings and bingo on Wednesday evenings from 7.30pm.
Live music will also be returning to the venue alongside barbecue evenings in the beer garden - when weather permits.
There are also plans to host pool, darts, chess and domino nights alongside monthly quiz and poker events, with further details still to be finalised.
A bar spokesperson said: "We have a lot planned for the future of the Black Bull. We would love any input and welcome your feedback good or bad. See you all soon!"
Further information on the bar and any events can be found on the Black Bull Inn Facebook page.
