St Winning's pupil Sarah Mallinson was crowned Segdoune Gala Queen 2024 on Saturday as most of Kilwinning hit the streets in glorious sunshine to enjoy the big day.
The gala day, which ran from 12-4pm, offered something for all the family, including alpacas, a rodeo bull, ten-pin bowling, garden games as well as craft and fundraising stalls.
In fact there were more than 30 stalls to get round on the day, as well as some fantastic entertainment on offer.
Sarah and her retinue were crowned following the big parade through the town which left at noon.
The Main Street event also made good use of the historic Kilwinning Abbey grounds and the car park at Abbey Green.
Choose Kilwinning’s chair, Aaran McDonald, said: “We are thrilled to work with partners across the area to bring together another stand out event and thanks to our funding partners in the National Lottery we have been able to keep costs down.
"Our Queen and royals are a credit to their families, schools and our town."
