Early ferry crossings between Ardrossan and Arran have been cancelled this morning (Tuesday, May 21) due to a burst water main on the MV Isle of Arran.
Operators CalMac revealed this morning that the 'technical issue' would mean the cancellation of the sailings from Ardrossan at 7am and 9.45am, as well as the departures from Arran at 8.20am and 11.05am.
A spokesperson for the ferry firm said earlier this morning: "We are in the process of contacting all customers who will be affected by this disruption.
"Engineers continue to work on repairs and an update on later sailings will be provided at approximately 11.30am.
"Limited spaces are available on the 8.30am sailing departing Troon and 10.20am sailing departing Brodick."
