A KILWINNING restaurant team say they "could not be happier" after achieving top award success.
Buzzworks venue The Corner House were big winners at The Scottish Hospitality Awards finals which were held in Glasgow on Monday, May 20.
Organised by Creative Oceanic, they look to highlight excellence within Scotland’s hospitality industry.
So The Corner House team were delighted when they were named the 'casual dining restaurant of the year' at the ceremony.
The Kilwinning venue pipped Eleven Restaurant and Bar in Stornoway to the award, with the island restaurant highly commended in the category.
A spokesperson for the restaurant said: "This is a true testament to all the commitment and dedication Stewart and the team put in and we couldn't be happier!"
While Stewart Adam, general manager at The Corner House, said: “We’re absolutely thrilled about this award win, which couldn’t have been possible without the hard work and dedication of our entire team.
“We’re really passionate about providing our guests with amazing dining experiences, as well as showcasing our culinary excellence with the range of delicious dining options on offer, so we are delighted to see that has been recognised by the judges.
“We have lots of exciting events and fantastic offers coming up at The Corner House this summer, and with this latest award win under our belt, we are more excited than ever to share them with our guests.”
The Corner House was one of a number of winners from across Ayrshire at the glittering ceremony.
The Carlton Seamill B&B in West Kilbride was highly commended in the 'bed and breakfast of the year' with Glenapp Castle in Girvan also highly commended for 'romantic hotel of the year.
The Gaiety Theatre in Ayr was named the best theatre in Scotland and Ayr Racecourse was sports venue of the year.
