LOCALS are finally able to take a look inside new build homes in West Kilbride.
Plans for Westpoint Homes to build 35 properties on Ardrossan High Road in the village were first approved back in 2019.
Despite objections from locals at the time, and a three-year dormancy for work during the Covid pandemic, work eventually got underway with many properties now completed.
The whole development will comprise a mix of three and four-bedroom bungalows, and four and five-bedroom detached homes located on the edge of the rolling hills in West Kilbride.
With work on the project progressing quickly, Westpoint have already began selling properties on the site - and have recently opened up a show home property.
The homes have proved popular with ten sold already with a further five currently available. The remaining 20 are yet to be released.
Of the properties currently for sale, two are four-bedroom detached bungalows dubbed 'The Bruce' which hold a £376,000 price tag.
A pair of four bedroomed detached homes named 'The Crosbie' are also available, coming in at a cost of £440,000.
While the most expensive home of those available 'The Stewart' boasts five bedrooms and a £521,000 cost price.
Inside, as shown in concept designs, the property features stylish French doors leading to the garden, the spacious open-plan kitchen and dining room are the hub of this home.
The family room offers a comfortable space for relaxing and enjoying time with family while for those more formal occasions, a separate lounge provides an elegant retreat.
A convenient cloakroom and utility room are thoughtfully located off the hall and kitchen, respectively with the utility benefiting side access to the garden.
Upstairs, the impressive principal bedroom and bedroom two boast en-suites and fitted wardrobes. Bedroom three also benefits from wardrobe fitted as standard.
Completing the upper floor of this home are a further two bedrooms, family bathroom and ample storage space.
Westpoint Homes say: "The Stewart epitomises the essence of contemporary family living."
