KILWINNING Library is set to celebrate 'turning 40' this weekend.
The team at the library are now inviting locals to come along and celebrate their four decades of providing a vital resource in the town.
An event has been organised to take place to mark the occasion on Saturday, June 1.
This will be taking place in the library from 10am to 12pm with all locals invited along to enjoy coffee, cake and a chat to reminisce in their memories of the venue.
A special anniversary bookbug event will also be taking place for youngsters on the day, running from 10.30am to 11am.
All are invited to stay and play after the session on what is sure to be a fun filled day.
