A NUMBER of roads and footways in Saltcoats town centre are to be partially closed later this month.
North Ayrshire Council will be closing the areas to allow carriageway and footway works to be carried out across the town centre.
Varying restrictions will be put in place across four streets, which will all be affected between 8am and 5pm daily from June 9-30.
Ardrossan Road will be closed between the war memorial roundabout and St Mary's church during these hours.
Caledonia Road will also be shut during this time between Ardrossan Road and Campbell Avenue.
There will also be restrictions on Hamilton Street in the noted hours, with no loading or waiting allowed between number 64-72 on both sides of the street.
The same restrictions will also be in place from 43-73 Manse Street during these hours.
There will also be a footway closure affecting Manse Street during this time. The pavement will be closed on the Sainsbury's side from the supermarket exit to opposite house number 59.
The opposing side will be closed between homes number 59 and 73. Diversions will be signposted in the relevant areas throughout the duration of these works.
There is also further works taking place elsewhere in the town, unrelated to the above works, which will impact the Chapelwell Street car park.
There will be temporary restrictions to the parking bays behind the Bank of Scotland from 7am on Monday, June 10 until 5pm on Friday, June 14, to allow for the demolition and reconstruction of a masonry wall.
