Kilwinning Flower Show will return on August 29 this year - and keen gardeners have been urged to get growing for the big event.
Run by Kilwinning Horticultural Society, the show was first established in the town back in 1856.
The show is traditionally held on the last Thursday in August.
Exhibitors can place entries in different classes, including cut flowers, pot plants, vegetables, floral art, baking, beers and wines, handicrafts, children and novice sections.
The 2023 show was a great success and the organisers look forward to continuing this trend at this year's event in the Abbey Church Hall. Schedules will be available soon.
A spokesperson for the society said: "Sincere thanks to all of our sponsors, visitors and exhibitors who continue to support this event.
"Exhibits can be put on display from 7-10pm on the Wednesday before the day of the show or between 7-10am on Thursday, August 29.
"Judging begins at 10am and the doors will open to the public at 2pm. A tearoom will be available in the afternoon, selling teas, coffees, pancakes and scones.
"Just remember, anyone can enter, no matter if you are a beginner, intermediate or experienced gardener. Don't forget our school competition."
